(GESIS, Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences) - Abstract
-
The demands of Open Science increase the responsibilities of
researchers, for example writing a data management plan.
In this seminar, we will invite an expert from GESIS to address this topic by first outlining the benefits and the costs of Open Science, then focus on data management plans and data management plan tools available. A recent work done at GESIS will also be presented in which they analyzed the time spent on data curation, i.e. making data ready to be published.
We welcome those who want to know more about data management plan and those who are involved in data sharing process. - How to Register Closed
